ALTHOUGH ITS ROOTS GO BACK TO 1988 SO THE COMPANY CELEBRATED 30 YEARS OF TRADING IN 2018

The company has been under family ownership since 1991 when Peter & Margaret Austin took over the company until their retirement in 2007 when the company changed to its present ownership of Tim & Jo.

Since then ACT has been expanding exponentially year by year, constantly expanding in to new industries.

ACT are proud to having trading relations with many other companies throughout UK, as well as across Europe and the rest of the world.

ACT is one the leading companies for sourcing both Standard & Bespoke threaded fasteners in all materials & and many finishes ranging from a single screw to a million washers.

2018 saw ACT achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and was the start of a new direction in trading ambitions. ACT incorporates over 75 years of industry knowledge and strives to use modern and innovative manufacturing processes in the following fasteners specifications;

DIN, ANSI/ASME, ISO, and BS.

In 2018 ACT was proud to become members of the BIAFD.
